Sleigh the Waves: A Surf Holiday Party on the Crystal Coast
The holidays hit different when you’re near the ocean — and this year, we’re bringing that energy straight to the lineup. On December 20th from 10 AM to noon, RWS Surf School and Shorebreak Coffee is hosting Sleigh the Waves, a free community surf event built for pure fun, good vibes, and a little festive chaos in the water.
Whether you surf every weekend or you’re just looking for an excuse to get outside before the Christmas cookies take over, this event is for you. We’ll have 3 divisions, friendly judges, and the kind of atmosphere where the wipeouts earn just as much applause as the clean rides.
Expect laughs, high-fives, and maybe someone surfing in a reindeer hat they definitely can’t keep on. It’s all about bringing our Crystal Coast surf community together and giving everyone one more reason to smile before the year winds down.
This blog is your quick update zone — what to bring, how to register, and what to expect as we get closer to the big day.
If you’re ready to kick off the holiday season with saltwater, stoke, and a ton of community spirit, visit www.RWSsurf.com and get in the loop.

Let’s Build Your Best Surf Season Yet!
Here on the Crystal Coast, every new season brings a fresh chance to level up your surfing. At RWS Surf School, we’re kicking off 2026 with new classes and semester-style training built for anyone who’s ready to put in the work, have fun, and ride better waves—whether you’re catching your first one or sharpening your style.
Our training is structured enough to help you progress with purpose, but relaxed enough to keep things fun. Think focused coaching, good energy, and plenty of moments where we all laugh together (usually when one of us wipes out in spectacular fashion).
This blog is your spot for quick updates—new programs, open sessions, events, and everything you need to know before spaces fill up.
If you’re ready to invest in your surfing, meet great people, and make this your strongest season yet, head over to www.RWSsurf.com.
